ROCK HILL - Ms. Frances Moore Harp, 58, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Carolina's Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Winthrop University and was employed by Facilicon, where she was an accounting manager. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed her grandchildren and family.

Ms. Harp is survived by two daughters, Martha Elizabeth Gettys and her husband, Craig Adams Gettys, and Frances Anna Harp and her fiancé, Kenneth Chad Wells; their father, Franklin Woodruff Harp; her two grandchildren, Thomas McCain Gettys and Franklin Payne Gettys; her brothers and sisters, Rosanne M. Dover, Martha M. Elliott, G. Steve Moore Jr., James Stuart Moore and Louise M. Mickle; her step-father, Ladson A. Barnes Jr.; and a dear friend, Maggie Dodds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, G. Steve Moore and Rosanne M. Barnes.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Pruitt officiating. A private family burial will take place prior to the service.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Elliott, 1722 Trellis Drive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frances' memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 234 East Main Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730; The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Charlotte Affiliate, 505 East Blvd., Ste. 101, Charlotte, NC 28203; or to the charity of one's choice.

Frances had the most beautiful smile.  She looked so pretty and happy at our last reunion.  Miss her.

Frances was a great friend and mother.  She was beautiful inside and out and I really miss her.

First time I remember Frances was on a snowy school day with Frank Harp.We had been in the snow all morning and half the afternoon;so Frank said it was time to warm-up.We just happen to be in front of Frances' house, so in we go and what a great person I got to know.RIP

I had the opportunity to spend most of the time at the 40th reunion talking to Frances.  I just so admired her new-found spirit and how she had dealt with cancer.  She is so missed.

I remember how petite Frances was -and how cute she and Frank were together. I remember Francis as one of my "group' of friends", and how kind she was. Am so sad to hear of her death for Cancer. Happy memories>
