Information provided by Classmate Allen Burns - Wendy's given name on our graduation program is Melissa Claire Stanton.  She was born in Norfolk, VA on 05 Jul 1949 per a Virginia birth record.  She died on 22 Sep 1998 per the Social Security Administration.  A family tree on Ancestry.com says she died in Atlanta and she was living there in 1986 per the U.S. Public Records Index, but she was living with her mother in Greer, SC in 1992, also per the U.S. Public Records Index.  Her mother died in Texas in 1994 so Wendy may have gone back to Atlanta.  Her father died in 1964 and is buried in Texas.  Each of the kids was born in a different place with the oldest born in Panama.  None of the records I’ve found on Wendy give me a clue as to whether she ever married.  If she did she must have retained her maiden name as all the records I’ve found were “Stanton.”  The birth and death dates are documented.  I didn’t find where she is buried.
