Rock Hill – Cynthia Dawn Batten Sprouse, 72, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 in Gastonia NC.

Born in Rock Hill, Ms. Sprouse was the daughter of the late, Harry and Marjorie Wade Batten. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and retired from Ina Schaeffler Group in Fort Mill, SC.

Survivors include her son, Mark Lanier of Gastonia; grandsons, Bradley Phipps (Haley) of Fort Lawn, SC, Frankie Brehm of Fort Lawn, and Brent Sprouse of Rock Hill; great-grandson, Nash Phipps; sisters, Bridgette McCarver of Rock Hill, and Mary Hopkins of Fort Lawn; brother Cliff Batten of Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 2133 Ebenezer Road Rock Hill, SC 29732.
