New Orleans - Mrs. Carol June Bennett Hunter, 49, of Royal St., formerly of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, November 18, 1998. Funeral arrangements will be annouced by Bultman Funeral Home, 3338 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans. Surviving ar two sons Adam Graham and Noel Graham, both of New Orleans; her father Charles Bennett and her stepmother, Sara Edwars Bennett of Spruce Pines NC; her brother Charles Thomas Bennett of Irmo; two step brothers, Frank Ramsey of Atlanta and Paul Ramsey of San Angelos, Texas; her sister Gail Mc Millain of Waynesboro, GA; and her stepsister, Mary Buckle of Mooresville, NC.

Carol was my neighbor. We shared a love for the Beatles and enjoyed spending afternoons listening to records, practicing her piano lessons, and caring for her horse - just hanging out together. She was a very beautiful, kind, talented person. I was so sad to hear of her death at such a young age.

Carol was my first girlfriend... we were "steadys"... We tried to go to my Junior Senior Prom together but the chaperon "teachers" would not let Carol in because she was a sophomore. I will always remember my SWEET SIXTEEN Carol, who loved the Beatles and folk music. I was told she died in New Orleans LA from breast cancer.
