Jack Gregory

Jack Powell Gregory Sr., 76, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Born on February 18, 1948, from Rock Hill, SC, Jack was the beloved son of the late Wylie Franklin Gregory Sr. and Dorothy Eugene Gregory.

Jack is survived by his son, Jack Powell Gregory Jr. (Ryanne-Leigh); his brother Donald Gregory; and his fiancée and best friend, Linda R. Odom.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Lori Ann; and his brothers, Wylie Jr. “Snook” and Marion Gregory.

Jack was a man of many passions. He loved fishing, collecting coins, walking on the beach, and listening to his beach music. He also enjoyed searching for shells on his beach walks. He was known for his master electrical skills. Also, not to mention a devoted Clemson football fan!

He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, entering in June 1967, and later joining the National Guard at Fort Knox. Jack was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Brigadier General Micah Jenkins Camp #1569.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC.

Jack will be remembered as a proud veteran, a devoted family man, and a loyal friend. His warm spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
