Robert Hooper, Tree Surgeon

Mayport FLA. - The funeral for Mr. Robert Daniel Hooper, 44 of 4829 Ocean St., formerly of Rock Hill, who died Monday May 9, 1994, will be 11 am Friday at Bass Funeral Home, with Revs. Rick Martin and Tommy Huddleston officiating.Burial will be at Grand Memorial Park. Mr Hooper was a tree surgeon with Orlando Tree Service. He was a US Marine Corp veteran of Vietnam and attended Winthrop College. Surviving are his son Matthew Eric Hooper of York; two daughters Brandy Hooper and Nicole Hooper of the home; his parents Otto David and Mary Smith Hooper, both of Rock Hill; his brother Charles Hooper of Rock Hill; his sister, Doris Rawls of Mechanicsville, VA; his grandmother, Gensie Smith of Rock Hill; and his stepgrandmother, Ethel Hooper of Sylvia, NC. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bass Funeral Home and other times at the hone of his parents Otto and Mary Hooper, 2480 McConnells Highway.
