Michele Robin Cahoon of Chestnut Ridge, NY formerly of Rock Hill, SC passed away on September 17, 2016 at the age of 67. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to Terrence and Jean (Stadtlander) Keel on May 9, 1949. Michele was a proud graduate of Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, SC and Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA. She was a retail manager for Sears for over 30 years. For the last 10 years Michele worked for Dressbarn as POS Administrator. Michele enjoyed sewing, gardening, and arts and crafts. She was known by her family as making the best lemon cookies.
Michele is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Ronald Cahoon, her cherished brother Todd Keel and his wife Linda, her caring step children Stuart H. Cahoon (Barbara), Edward G. Cahoon (Jeanine), and Kimberly A. Cahoon, and by 7 adored grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Michele was predeceased by her parents Terrence and Jean Keel and by her brother Shawn Keel.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 11:30 - 12PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Memorial Service will be celebrated also on Thursday, beginning at 12 noon at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home. An interment of ashes at The Rock Hill Oratory, 434 Charlotte Ave, Rock Hill, SC will take place at a later date. www.wanamakercarlough.com
