Sissy and I went to grammar school (St. Ann's) and High School together.  she was a great athlete and I am so glad we were friends.

I remember that on a trip--maybe our senior class trip or a sports team trip--Sissy and Lillian Pitts got into a contest to see who could put the most pieces of bubble gum in her mouth.   And it had to be chewed it so it would add to the 'wad.'  You would not believe how much gum they both had in their mouths! I don't remember who won or how many pieces, but it was one of the funniest things I had ever seen!  What a happy memory of Sissy.  And like Annie said, she was a really good athlete.
