CLOVER Donald "Don" Edward Sexton, 60, of 830 S. Beersheba Road died Saturday, Sept.12, 2009, at his home in Clover.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Beersheba Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Patti Tillman Simpson, the Rev. Dr. Scott Simpson and the Rev. Barry Lambert will be officiating. Burial will be at Tirzah ARP Church Cemetery.

Don was a son of the late James and Nelle Walker Sexton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war.

He is survived by two sons, Eddie Sexton of York, S.C., and Jamee Sexton of Rock Hill, S.C.; sister, Cathy S. McGilberry of Clover, S.C.; brother, James Ronald "Ronnie" Sexton of Maggie Valley, N.C; three grandchildren, Maggee Sexton, Malloree Sexton and Landon Sexton.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Bratton Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 2889, P.O. Box 3616, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Bratton Funeral Home in York is serving the Sexton family.
