What a sweet, fun guy he was.  I ran into him a few times when he came to Columbia on business.  I miss him.

Larry Hollis, well I miss you good friend. You were one of the people that stuck by me when I came back from Vietnam. Even when it was hard you stayed right in there. So many things I could say about you ole buddy but I will say the whole world misses you and you went to soon! God Bless your family and may God smile on them always!

Larry and I were good friends in high school, but best of friends afterwards playing on the same basketball teams at the YMCA, coaching pony league baseball teams together, double dating, making weekend trips to OD, attending USC Lancaster, working as bag boys at the Community Cash after graduation then working at a local office supply dealer for ten years, serving in the same army reserve unit for six years and he was in my wedding and I was in his. We shared many fun filled days as we made our way through life in our young adult days, but one of my lowest days was when Larry's brother called me and told me Larry had suffered a heart attack and died. Larry was a big part of my life for several years as he was to many others. Those of us who knew him were the lucky ones. We all miss you ole friend.
